A fintech alliance aims to enhance AI-driven financial security in Ghana and across West Africa by introducing TrustNET, a unified AI platform for user and business verification.

The solution enables payment fraud prevention and real-time transaction monitoring, says Samuel Amanor, founder and CEO of BlueSPACE.

The platform is the result of a partnership between BlueSPACE, INETCO and Sumsub.

It was unveiled this week at an event held in Accra, Ghana, as West Africa’s financial sector undergoes rapid digital transformation.

“The launch of TrustNET represents a pivotal moment for financial integrity in West Africa,” said Amanor.

“By combining our deep local market insights with global AI innovation from INETCO and Sumsub, we are bolstering the security and integrity of Ghana and the broader West African financial ecosystem."

Bijan Sanii, CEO of INETCO, added: “In an era of high-speed digital payments, real-time visibility is non-negotiable. TrustNET integrates real-time transaction monitoring and AI-powered payment fraud prevention to ensure every end-to-end payment is secure, allowing regulators and banks to scale digital payments confidently.”

Secure digital banking starts with building compliant and fraud-proof user verification flows without slowing down the customer journey, says Richy Emah, regional director for North and West Africa at Sumsub.

The trio said TrustNET enables regulators and financial institutions to on-board and verify users instantly and accurately, reducing friction without compromising safety.

The platform includes automated identity verification tools for individuals and businesses, enabling streamlined Know Your Customer, Know Your Business and Anti-Money Laundering on-boarding processes.
