Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading carrier, has partnered with Nucore Technologies to take a major step forward in its digital transformation journey.

The collaboration aims to modernise the airline’s B2B operations, enhance data-driven decision-making, and provide travel partners with seamless access to Ethiopian Airlines’ offerings.

Through this partnership, Nucore Technologies will integrate software solutions into Ethiopian Airlines’ Agency Portal, the airline’s platform for travel agencies, corporate clients, and aggregators.

The integration delivers out-of-the-box reporting, analytics, and automation capabilities, allowing partners to access direct content via New Distribution Capability(NDC)-enabled distribution, streamlined booking options, and multiple payment solutions.

“Ethiopian Airlines is committed to leading digital innovation across the aviation industry,” said Bilen Arefaine, vice president of ET Holiday and Digital/GCIC Sales.

“Working with Nucore Technologies enables our partners to easily access our services, including NDC-based offers, ancillary products, and hotel packages, all supported by our global platform and 24/7 technical support.”

The Agency Portal already serves over 2,000 active customers across more than 100 stations worldwide. With this upgrade, Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its global reach and reinforcing its commitment to a connected, future-ready digital ecosystem.

This partnership, according to Ethiopian Airlines, it aligns with its broader plan, known as Vision 2035, which aims to position the airline among the top 20 most competitive aviation groups globally.

By embracing innovative technology and NDC adoption, Ethiopian continues to set the standard for modern airline retailing while strengthening its Pan-African multi-hub strategy with partners in Lomé, Lilongwe, Lusaka, and Kinshasa.
