Es'hailSat, a satellite operator based in Qatar, has formed strategic alliances with EgyptSat and Saudi NetLink to deliver integrated satellite services to customers in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East and North Africa region.

According to the Qatar Tribune, the arrangements enable these companies' clients to benefit from the combined satellite services as well as the extensive ground infrastructure that incorporates satellite communications and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) technology.

Furthermore, the partnerships target a diverse set of customers across applications such as VSAT communications, enterprise connectivity, telecommunications, and other digital services, with both Saudi Netlink and EgyptSat expanding their collaboration with Es'hailSat into areas such as training, pricing, and collaborating as preferred partners.

Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, President and CEO of Es'hailSat, stated that the cooperation with Saudi Netlink combines the satellite and ground segment expertise of both firms.

In reference to the partnership with EgyptSat, he stated: “We are witnessing a rapid growth of the economies in the Middle East and North Africa region, together with global sporting events and this has led to growing demand from our commercial, government and defence customers.

“In order to best serve these and remain competitive in the global landscape, we welcome this partnership with EgyptSat and believe that when it comes to our satellite services, the whole will be greater than the sum of the parts.”
