Network International, a global payments firm, will help Egypt's EGBANK with digital transformation of its ATM acquiring business.

The firm announced the partnership today, stating that it demonstrates Network's commitment to innovation in payment solutions to meet the increasing needs of the Egyptian market.

With the transaction, Network extends its continuing strategic cooperation with EGBANK to transform the bank's ATM acquiring service.

According to the company, this agreement is an important step toward improving the banking experience for EGBANK customers and allowing the bank's digital transformation through new solutions.

In terms on the partnership, the parties would use Network's expertise to help EGBANK compete in the Egyptian market.

Hossam El Sholkamy, deputy CEO of EGBANK, said: “Using Network’s expertise, we are shaping the market with new products and services that will facilitate our digital payment transformation, offering an elevated experience for our customers and emphasising our pivotal role in the Egyptian financial market.”

While, Dr. Reda Helal, group managing director – processing, Africa andco-head group processing at Network International, said implementing his company's solutions underlines the bank’s impact in the Egyptian market.

"We look forward to capturing the opportunities that lie ahead and achieving new heights of success by working together,” he said.
