
Global digital services provider Hayo has expanded its operations in Africa, opening new offices in Gaborone (Botswana), Monrovia (Liberia), and Lilongwe (Malawi). The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to invest in emerging markets and strengthen its presence across the continent.
Hayo said the expansion aims to bolster local digital economies by delivering digital solutions, telecommunications services, and on-the-ground expertise. The company provides services to a diverse customer base, including hyperscalers, governments, regulators, enterprises, and mobile network operators.
According to Hayo, the new regional offices will accelerate the delivery of local services, drive digital adoption, and enhance support for global businesses looking to scale across Africa.

Hayo noted that Africa’s digital economy contributed 1.1% to the continent’s GDP in 2012, rising to 4.5% by 2020. That figure is projected to reach 5.2% by 2025 and 8.5% by 2050.
The company said its expansion is designed to support this growth, create employment opportunities, and build stronger relationships with national stakeholders.

Hayo currently supports over 100 mobile operators across Africa and the Middle East and connects global customers through a network of more than 500 partners.
The expansion follows the launch of Hayo’s National Mobile Registry (NMR) platform, which aims to help governments in emerging markets regulate their mobile ecosystems.
The platform enhances compliance, protects citizens, and facilitates sustainable public revenue generation by managing mobile device entry and registration.
