Kenyan expats in the US and Canada can now call relatives and friends at cheaper rates using yuMobile.
Essar Telecom’s yuMobile is targeting Kenyans in the two countries through a partnership with Bassone Global, which plans to let subscribers make unlimited calls to their friends and family without being tied up to any contracts.
The calls to Kenya will be made through Bassone Global network which has introduced the new international calling plan, yuCall Kenya, which is exclusively available for customers in the United States and Canada whose relatives are subscribers of yuMobile.
The yuCall Kenya unlimited monthly calling plan is offered at $14.99 per month to customers in the US and Canada.
“We continuously strive to offer subscribers the most innovative and competitive calling options to meet their communication needs,” said Madhur Taneja, yuMobile country manager.
