Cassava Technologies today announced the debut of its autonomous network, an agentic solution that it asserts will significantly enhance network performance across Africa.
According to the pan-African firm, the solution, Cassava Autonomous Network, is built to self-optimise mobile Radio Access Networks.
The company went on to say the solution was developed specifically to navigate the unique complexities of the continent’s connectivity landscape and comes as African operators struggle to manage increasingly dense networks under tight resource constraints.
While 4G remains the regional standard, the scaling of 5G has turned daily optimisation into a manual bottleneck. Cassava said its solution eliminates these inefficiencies, slashing repair times for minor issues from four days to approximately 35 minutes.
The solution is also designed to work across all vendors and network generations (2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G), including legacy, hybrid, and cloud-native deployments.
Furthermore, the company said powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure, NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA Network Configuration Blueprint, Cassava Autonomous Network offers policy-driven automation that replaces manual network adjustments with continuous, intelligent optimisations, reducing operational bottlenecks and increasing efficiency by up to 75%.
The company continued: “Cassava Autonomous Network runs on CAIMEx, a localised multi-model platform that provides unified access to leading AI models through regional AI factories.”
