Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel) is looking for a global consulting firm with local presence to conduct feasibility studies on the country's mobile finance system as the telecom prepares to enter the mobile money space.

Camtel has increased its efforts at rolling out its own electronic payment solution called Blue Money in order to compete with MTN and Orange in the mobile money sector.

The consultant will have 90 days to conduct marketing, regulatory, and technology assessments to determine the viability of Camtel's mobile money programme.
