Binance and mobile network provider Africell are planning to collaborate on blockchain education, crypto literacy, and digital asset services across Africa.

According to the companies, key areas of the proposed partnership include Crypto-as-a-Service, education initiatives, joint user offers, and P2P enhancements.

Jack Wong, business development at Binance, explained that the two parties share a common goal of empowering communities across the continent with education, infrastructure, and practical tools to participate in the digital economy.

By combining global expertise with local reach, they aim to support responsible adoption of blockchain and crypto solutions and create value for communities.

From the telco’s perspective, the alliance assists it in expanding digital services offerings.

Africell’s head of business development, Nidal Safetli, said: “Partnering with Binance allows us to bring global blockchain expertise into our local ecosystem. Together we aim to equip communities with the knowledge, technical skills and tools to participate confidently in the digital financial economy.”
