Computer maker ASUS announced its partnership with Ensure Services in South Africa to extend its reach into neighbouring African countries.

The Taiwanese headquartered firm stated that Ensure Services would serve as its authorised service partner in South Africa to enhance after-sales service levels.

According to the statement Ensure Services has centres across southern Africa, and provides support for technology hardware brands in 28 countries via 50 support centres in the Middle East and Africa.

"Ensure Services has a sterling reputation for outstanding service delivery, and we are looking forward to being able to reduce our service turnaround times significantly with the aim of reaching a solution within a few days," said Andre Goosen, country service manager at ASUS.

Goosen added, "When I joined ASUS late in 2014, one of my immediate goals was to improve service levels for our customers, this appointment is one of many steps we are taking to further improve our service levels so that customer experience matches our long-held brand values."

Also commenting on the partnership Raj Shankar, managing director of Ensure Services, "We are delighted to welcome ASUS to our portfolio, and we are looking forward to working closely with the team in South Africa as it raises the bar in after-sales service."
