Indian telco giant Airtel yesterday announced that it is planning to offer the fastest mobile broadband speeds in Rwanda, as it introduces its 3.75G mobile service in that country.
The company says that its HSPA+ technology could offer speeds of up to 21 Mbps.
Airtel has also teamed up with service provider, Ericsson to roll out the network.
The new 3.75G network will initially be available to Airtel customers in Kigali, but will become available to other parts of the country over the course of the month.
