Airtel Money Zambia has appointed Kelvin Ndhlovu as managing director, succeeding Andrew Chuma, who is moving into a new leadership role within the wider Airtel Africa Group.
According to the company, Ndhlovu will oversee the fintech business as it focuses on expanding digital financial services and supporting financial inclusion in Zambia.
Ndhlovu previously served as group head of decision support for Airtel Money Africa, where he was responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight and performance management across Airtel Money’s operations in 14 African markets.
Airtel Money said the leadership transition reflects its focus on internal talent development and succession planning to support business continuity.
The company said Ndhlovu brings experience across telecommunications, fintech, corporate governance and business transformation.
“We thank Andrew for his outstanding contribution to Airtel Money Zambia and wish him every success in his new role,” said Airtel Money.
