Airtel Business pays a courtesy call to Smart Zambia

Oliver Fortuin, CEO of Airtel Business Africa Group, paid a courtesy call yesterday to Percy Chinyama, national coordinator of SMART Zambia, to discuss potential areas of partnership.

SMART Zambia is at the vanguard of digital transformation, spearheading programs to improve public service delivery using e-government technology.

One of the important topics of collaboration discussed at yesterday's meeting was the need to build digital infrastructure in order to improve e-government services.

Chinyama emphasised the government's willingness to collaborate with the private sector, emphasising its essential role in advancing innovation in technology and generating economic progress.

Fortuin was accompanied by Lindiwe Banda, Airtel Zambia's business director, and other senior officials.

SMART Zambia personnel present at the meeting included the government's chief technical officer, Kasali Musenge, the director of digital government services, Mulomba Hameja, and other officers.
