A second mobile operator from the small West African nation of Gambia has a presence on global mobile credit top-up website MobileRecharge.com.

The website has announced that Africell Gambia joins the likes of Ceria Indonesia as additional operators on the website.
MobileRecharge.com is geared to help people from all over the world send mobile credit gifts to family and friends living in other countries. African countries such as Zimbabwe and South Africa have operators listed on the website.

And according to a statement, Africell Gambia is the second top-up operator for this country on MobileRecharge.com, after QCell.

Africell is a subsidiary of the Africell Holding company that also operates in Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The statement adds that Africell reached over 3 million active subscribers in just ten months after its launch in 2012. Gambia, in particular, has a population of just 1.791 million people, according to the World Bank.

MobileRecharge.com says the recharge process on its website takes “less than one minute.”

All major credit cards are accepted on MobileRecharge.com, and the system guarantees secure payments.

MobileRecharge.com forms part of KeepCalling, a global telecommunications company registered in 2002 in the US.
