After staging five high-energy hybrid events across four African regions, AfricArena will conclude its 2025 continental tour with the annual AfricArena Grand Summit, taking place on December 2nd and 3rd in Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The Grand Summit, the stage of Africa’s tech future, will feature pitches from VC, ESOs and over 50 of Africa’s top startups, ranging from seed to growth stage, alongside keynotes and panel discussions led by some of the region’s foremost thinkers in business, technology, and investment.
AfricArena will grant over $1 million in AWS Activate credits and will create connections with over 300 investors present to further increase it’s track record of facilitations over $940m in investment transactions since 2017.
As part of the Grand Summit, AfricArena will also host the Venture Studio & Corporate Innovation Summit — a unique gathering at the intersection of corporate innovation, venture capital, and venture building.
This high-impact forum will bring together global and African venture builders, corporate innovators, and investors to explore how venture studios are becoming powerful engines for startup creation and growth across Africa. It will also host a Research & Innovation Summit with Universities, Research Centers & ESOs.
“The Grand Summit is where Africa’s most promising founders, investors, and innovation leaders converge to shape the future of the continent’s tech ecosystem,” said Christophe Viarnaud, CEO of AfricArena. “This year’s Venture Studio & Corporate Innovation Summit will spotlight how new venture-building models are unlocking unprecedented collaboration between startups, corporates, and investors — and driving the next wave of African innovation.”
The AfricArena Venture Studio & Corporate Innovation Summit 2025 will offer attendees deep insights into Africa’s fast-evolving venture studio landscape, showcasing how these models are redefining startup development, accelerating corporate innovation, and creating new pathways for investment and scale.
