African SAP service partner plans expansion

Business software SAP’s largest African service partner outside of South Africa, Twenty Third Century Systems, has outlined its plans to open two new offices in Central and Southern Africa.

Alex Marufu, the company’s chief operations officer, said the outlets will be opened before the end of the year.

Operating for 15 years in Africa and the Middle East, the company says it has deployed SAP offerings in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, pension funds, public sector companies, government, tax and revenue collecting agencies.

The company already has a local presence in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya, , Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria.

“We are opening new offices in two markets, namely Rwanda and Zambia. These will be opened in December,” said Marufu.

Twenty Third Century Systems has more than 150 full time consultants.
