Africa Data Centre’s Stephane Duproz now exec at Cassava
ITWeb Africa understands that Stephane Duproz, who has until this week served as CEO of Africa Data Centres, has been appointed as a Group Executive Director/SVP of Cassava Technologies.
According to the company, in his new role Duproz will be working on the Group’s corporate development, with a focus on datacentres.
The company did not provide any further clarity on the reasons for the change or what impact, if any, this will have on its target market.
On 7 February ITWeb reported that Cassava Technologies appointed Tesh Durvasula as the new chief executive officer of Africa Data Centres, replacing Duproz.
According to the company, Durvasula will be responsible for driving growth, innovation and strategy of Cassava Technologies’ data centres to meet Africa’s accelerating demand for data and digital infrastructure.
Cassava Technologies notes that Durvasula is an experienced technology and real estate industry executive with a 25-year track record of successful leadership and value generation in the digital infrastructure sector.
