In his role, Naidoo will be responsible for driving growth, innovation and strategy in the enterprise market across the group’s holdings.

Naidoo will join the Liquid Telecom team in this role on 1 October 2020.

A seasoned ICT professional, Naidoo has more than 14 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Liquid Telecom, he worked at Cisco in several key leadership positions. Most recently, he was general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, covering 31 countries.

He was responsible for executing a region-wide vision and strategy that delivered transformational value to Cisco’s customers and partners, accelerating growth across all business segments and developing strategic relationships across the entire ecosystem to drive a digital agenda for Sub-Saharan Africa, Liquid Telecom says.

“We are thrilled that Clayton will be joining Liquid Telecom as we progress in our journey to solidify our position as a leading digital services provider across Africa,” says Ahmad Mokhles, group chief operating officer of Liquid Telecom.

“Clayton’s vast experience in the global ICT sector and his commitment to strong industry partnerships, paired with his ability to embrace innovation and take calculated risks makes him an ideal asset as the Group continues to grow.”

The group chief Business officer is a new position within Liquid Telecom, and forms part of the group’s wider digital transformation strategy, says the company.

It adds that in this role, Naidoo is tasked with establishing Liquid Telecom’s enterprise business offering of managed solutions to large companies.

According to Liquid Telecom, this is a vital role as the organisation is migrating to a digitally enhanced operating model that will deliver higher levels of customer experience for long-term business sustainability.

“I am very proud to be part of the Liquid Telecom family. I look forward to exploring and tapping into the many exciting opportunities that exist across the pan-African network, in order to build trusted, intelligent and secure enterprise solutions for our customers. Liquid Telecom is well poised to help accelerate the digital transformation agendas of its enterprise customers and support their collective vision to build Africa’s digital future,” Naidoo concludes.
