Commvault, a data security and management software business, has appointed Ravi Baldev as senior director, sales engineering, emerging markets.

According to the company, Baldev will oversee a team that supports the growth of new opportunities in emerging markets.

Commvault said Baldev was the chief technology officer (Field) for cyber resilience in EMEA, and he had a long and distinguished career at Dell.

Prior to joining DELL, Baldev worked in top positions at ISIT AE, HSBC, and STME.

Fady Richmany, regional vice president, emerging markets, Commvault, commented: "With his deep expertise in the industry and acute understanding of its demands, Ravi will play a critical role in driving our strategic initiatives, and I am excited to collaborate with him."
