The best part about this offering is that it is not a native application that needs to be downloaded and maintained for each type of device, although it looks and feels very much like a native application. Because it is deployed using the power of the Web, it is accessible from anywhere in the world using WiFi, 3G or other data networks.

"We have used powerful HTML5 technology, which allows the mobile site to automatically resize to accommodate the screen size of your smart device to give you a pleasurable browsing experience without having to worry about fly-out menus, scrolling left and right or zooming. By simply navigating to www.payspace.co.za on your smart device, you will automatically be redirected to our mobile site with the option of navigating to our full site if you are on a tablet device," says Van Wyk.

PaySpace already provides the ability for employees to request their payslips via SMS for free. Now employees can browse real-time information relating to their payslips, personal details and leave balances at any time.

"We will be releasing exciting advanced features in the future that will include the ability to apply for leave, edit your personal details, apply for reimbursement claims, plus much more," concludes Van Wyk.

This service is free to all customers on PaySpace's Premier or Master editions. Existing Employee Self Service users can login using their current credentials, otherwise they can register on the mobile site now.
