MTN Nigeria opens 5G digital experience centre
MTN Nigeria yesterday opened its first fully digitised experience centre in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, showcasing how 5G technology improves customer experience.
Ugonwa Nwoye, the company's chief customer and experience officer, emphasised the centre's role in demonstrating the transformative power of technology in Nigeria
"We launched Nigeria’s first 5G digital experience centre by any telecom firm," she said, highlighting that the aim is to bring a digital experience closer to customers and businesses.
Nwoye added: "MTN is committed to enhancing lives through technology," recalling the company’s pioneering role in introducing 3G, 4G, and now 5G services.
According to her, the centre features a digital kiosk which enable customers to access services independently. Services include SIM card sales, airtime, data plans, and devices like 5G routers.
Furthermore, the centre showcases smart home solutions, Nyowe said: "This isn’t just about data and devices; it’s about empowering people."
She went to say the aim is to spark creativity and innovation through technology.
