PDC to distribute TallyGenicom printer range

The Printer Distribution Company (PDC), a leading provider of industrial, back and front office enterprise printing solutions for customers throughout Africa, announced today that it has been extended the distribution of the workhorse line printer range from Printronix the printer manufacturer of TallyGenicom.

PDC has been a distributor of the Printronix range of Line Matrix and Thermal printers for the past 16 years and sees TallyGenicom as another best-of-breed printer dot matrix printer range delivering a long lifespan highly competitive, flexible and affordable printing especially suitable for harsh or dusty environments and constrained spaces.

These printers are particularly good for manufacturing, distribution and logistics, government, banking and automotive companies that need to print high volumes of invoices, product shipment and transportation documentation, bank statements and product compliance labels. The multi form capability is another feature associated with the line Matrix range for uses like prepaid cell phone vouchers.

Says PDC chief executive Rodney Bartman: "We believe this range will complement our existing Printronix range and the printers come in a number of options and configurations including desktop, pedestal and cabinet. Advantages include easy an easy upgrade path from legacy printers with excellent control, remote diagnostics and marked cost efficiencies.
