South Africa ad-tech start-up, Adbot and MTN Nigeria have partnered to deliver Thryve Google Ads services to SMEs on the mobile network.

Thryve Ads, according to MTN Nigeria, enables businesses to build and manage highly targeted advertising campaigns to reach their ideal audience, and that this advertising solution enables businesses to take complete control of their ad placements, budget, and performance.

According to the parties, the Adbot alliance intends to assist Nigerian SMEs in increasing their online visibility and engaging a larger audience by employing the Thryve Google Ads Bundle, which includes 1 Gb of data, a minimum of 10 website conversions, and 500 ad views on Google.

According to the parties, this helps SMEs overcome one of their most difficult challenges: acquiring access to new markets.

Lynda Saint-Nwafor, chief enterprise business officer of MTN Nigeria, commented on the agreement, saying, "As key constituents of the emerging digital economy, it is critical for SMEs to position themselves effectively across search engines and digital platforms to accelerate growth." Our partnership with Adbot provides SMEs with the tools they need to flourish and excel in today's brutally competitive business landscape."

She goes on to say, "With this solution, and our shared vision for innovation and progress, we will collectively ignite the aspirations of these small businesses, propelling them towards unprecedented growth opportunities."

"This partnership marks a momentous milestone as we venture into Nigeria, a thriving hub of innovation and entrepreneurship," said Michelle Geere, CEO of Adbot. “We have an opportunity to bring our cutting-edge advertising technology within reach of over 40 million MSMEs in the region by partnering with the nation's leading telecoms operator. This project strives to assist small businesses to achieve new levels of success in the digital age, and we are excited to see them embrace the boundless possibilities that await."
