Paratus Zambia has announced the renewal of its ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and PCI DSS certifications, and the company believes the renewal indicates its dedication to quality and security.

ISO certificates are unique International Organisation for Standardisation endorsements that indicate adherence to demanding global standards.

According to the company, ISO 9001 accreditation reflects its commitment to improving customer satisfaction, while ISO/IEC 27001 certification demonstrates the highest level of information security, ensuring clients' data remains safe from attacks.

According to Paratus, these re-certifications include a full evaluation of data centre operations, practices, and controls, including on-site inspections, audits, security tests, and assessments of management commitment.

Marius van Vuuren, country manager, Paratus Zambia said the re-certifications will inspire confidence among its clients, partners, and other stakeholders, and will also assist them with satisfying compliance issues.

"Re-certification at this level gives us a significant edge in the market, as more corporates prioritise international certification for security and safety when selecting a local data centre."
