Nigerian minister joins forces with industry to explore tech
Bosun Tijani, minister of communications, innovation, and digital economy, and other industry players will meet to examine how technology might play a more prominent role in fixing Nigeria's socioeconomic difficulties.
Beyond Limits will host the D.I.C.E (Digital Innovation and Creative Excellence) event, which is themed "Solve for Africa: Co-Creating a Tech-Enabled Future" and will be co-hosted by stakeholders in the tech, business, and creative ecosystem.
Dr Juliet Ehimuan, former Director for West Africa at Google and convener of D.I.C.E and Founder of Beyond Limits, stated in a statement, "We are on the verge of a technological revolution in Africa. To realise this potential, multiple stakeholders must work together to innovate and collaborate.
"Our aim is to convene the brightest minds, provide a melting pot of ideas, and inspire attendees to co-create a brighter, tech-driven future for Africa."
Dr. Juliet went on to say that the event intends to investigate how technology may be a powerful catalyst for positive transformation in the face of the country's economic inequalities.
