Mobile network operator Etisalat has joined forces with professional social networking website LinkedIn, in a deal that aims to enhance its recruitment process in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

Telecompaper reports that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based telecoms services provider plans to use LinkedIn's Talent Solutions to position itself as an employer of choice.

LinkedIn's product recruiter is designed to help poach passive candidates by a combination of search and collaboration tools.

The Talent Solutions page includes optimised Career Pages, Work with Us Ads, and Recruiter.

Currently LinkedIn has over 5 million professionals based in the MENA region registered on its site.
