Current CEO of MTN Rwanda, Mitwa Ng’ambi, has been appointed as the new CEO of MTN Cameroon effective 1 September 2022, as announced by the company’s Chairman Colin Mukete.

Ng’ambi will take over from Stephen Blewett, who has led the telco’s operations in Cameroon since 1 August 2020. Blewett is leaving the MTN Group.
