No more than baseline profit from manufacture and services vows xFusion boss
Global provider of computing power infrastructure and services xFusion Digital Technologies, alongside channel partners Pinnacle, Intel and Microsoft, has underlined its commitment to South Africa and Africa’s tech channel ecosystem, and stressed that its objective is to help build supply chain capacity and grow partner businesses by taking baseline profit only from the manufacture of products and services.
Speaking at the xFusion South Africa Partner Summit 2022, Anthony Yu, President xFusion Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, said the company has over 2 000 employees worldwide, holds more than 2000 patents with the x platform, has eleven research centres, seven regional offices and five major supply centres globally.
Its market incorporates 130 countries and covers finance, telecommunications, internet, transportation and energy.
Yu said the company is “a 100% channel focused business” and emphasised its strict stance on compliance with channel-centric policy, ethics and regulation.
“Our approach towards channel partners is to create value and grow business together. xFusion believes in being integrated to make your business (more simple) and more valuable. Our resellers will collaborate on hardware, software, networking and provide solutions to the end customers. Distributors have stronger technical capability, financial assistance and logistic solutions to channel partners.”
The company underlined its focus to roll out IP solutions and compute products to the MEA region.
“We take the profit only from the manufacturing of product and service… it is significant for us to keep only the base profit and leave more to our partners. The ecosystem, together with our partners, is ready,” said Yu.
xFusion distributor partner Pinnacle was recognised with an award.
Receiving the award, Pinnacle Brand Director Fred Saayman said, “This is just the start of a journey. This is work in progress, for the last year I have been in discussion with xFusion…. And if you look at what is presented, it really sets the benchmark in terms of what the partner policies are, where the programmes are going to go and how we are going to grow this business together with xFusion. Watch this space, there is more to come.”
Saayman added, “Pinnacle now has access to world-class server architecture with xFusion products and solutions which, in the end, will reach the market extremely cost effectively, with great ROI to end customers. Pinnacle’s resellers will now also have a very efficient Channel Partner Programme with xFusion that will provide them with huge value and benefits. The brand will also not be over traded like some other server vendors or brands.”
James Nel, Midrand/Huawei, xFusion & HOLOWITS: Business Unit Manager, said xFusion offers "a world class compute solution which is affiliated with some of the largest names in the industry such as Intel, Microsoft, VM Ware, Mellanox to name a few. They do this with an easy-to-use FusionOS at the helm but they kept the market in mind."
"There profit splits are majorly comprised of manufacturing profits that clearly show their commitment and understanding of local markets. They are giving emerging markets a cost-effective solution which does not compromise quality and performance in the process."
