Soccer apps now available for Nokia Lumia owners

Mobile maker Nokia has added five new soccer applications available for free download from the Windows Phone Store ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

According to a statement the apps have been designed to make it easier for soccer fans to keep up to date with the latest news from all the games.

One of the apps is 'Onefootball Brasil', which taps into the latest and most exciting football news coming from Brazil.

The app includes features like match schedules, results, statistics, a video section (to watch interviews and press events) and a chat feature for pre, during and post-match banter amongst fans, the statement noted.

Another app available to users is the popular soccer site, Goal.com. The app features in-match commentary, content-sharing options on both Facebook and Twitter, and voice controls.

The other apps are Goal Live Scores, Real Football 2013 and FIFA 14.
