NerdzFactory Company, a Nigerian social innovation organisation, has collaborated with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and the United States African Development Foundation to train youngsters aged 18 to 35 in essential digital skills.

The programme includes a full tuition scholarship, hands-on graphics and product design learning, digital marketing training, a training allowance, internship, job placement, and mentorship.

"This collaboration will give birth to a fully funded design and digital marketing school programme, empowering young individuals with both workplace and life skills, and providing them with the exposure necessary to kick-start their careers in the tech industry and beyond," says Ade' Olowojoba, founding partner of NerdzFactory Company.

"This programme is of great significance to us as it aligns with our mission to empower individuals, businesses, and institutions to unlock prosperity," he said. "It also plays a crucial role in our strategic plan to intentionally foster opportunities for young people to collaborate and excel, all while cultivating a pool of top-tier talent for both local and global markets."
