Motorola appoints Claas Kuehnemann in Africa enterprise role

Provider of communication services Motorola Solutions has appointed Claas Kuehnemann as its new head of enterprise business for sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa.

Kuehnemann's new role sees him take responsibility of planning, developing and executing Motorola Solutions enterprise mobility strategy in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.

His career spans years in multinational technology corporations such as SAP and IBM, where he filled a number of executive roles.

At IBM Kuehnemann was the managing partner for general business, global business services in the Middle East & Africa, where his responsibilities included securing sales, revenue and profitability for IBM Global Business Services.

And prior to joining IBM, he had a number of executive positions at SAP as the managing director for South East Europe, Middle East and North Africa and managing director for SAP Africa and senior vice president professional services Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Kuehnemann holds a combined Masters Degree in Engineering & Business Administration from the University of Darmstadt, Germany. He has also completed an executive MBA programme at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
