Africa’s first female astronaut urges adoption of space technologies

The AfDB president told a conference in Durban this week Africa has the necessary partnerships and technologies to eradicate hunger.

The program seeks to promote entrepreneurship in support of government’s job creation efforts.

Having started in South Africa in 2021, next year’s Programme will be rolled out in Ivory Coast, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Angola and Ethiopia.

“Africa can no longer outsource its healthcare security to the benevolence of others” said African Development Bank Group (AfDB) President, Dr Akinwumi Adesina.
