SD-WAN survey goes live
A survey on software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), being conducted in partnership with Citrix, has gone live on ITWeb.
The objective is to find out the role of SD-WANs in the context of the digital workspace.
In this survey, we examine the top challenges faced when connecting to the network and evaluate the level of user experience when working remotely and in the office.
Matthew McKay, regional director for Sub-Saharan Africa at Citrix, says, “We want to investigate the user experience as technology advancement and implementation isn’t possible without the support and understanding of the user experience. In this age of digital transformation, with the proliferation of connections, devices and applications, we’re exploring how businesses are reducing or eliminating dependencies and maintaining their focus on business priorities.”
The survey also interrogates whether user behaviour is analysed to protect assets, and if businesses are facing capacity or bandwidth limitations using technologies such as VPN and VDI.
One survey respondent from South Africa will win a Takealot voucher to the value of R3 000, while one respondent from the rest of Africa will win a $160 Amazon voucher.
The detailed results of the survey, and the prize winners, will be published on ITWeb.
