MTN strikes data deal with Côte d'Ivoire e-hailing drivers
MTN Côte d'Ivoire and e-hailing firm Yango have joined forces to improve the working conditions of its partner drivers through discounted data offers.
The partnership will see the telecoms provider offer drivers free data packages for the Yango Pro app.

The package will enable drivers to save at least FCFA 5,000 ($8) per month on mobile internet, SMS and voice services.
In addition, Yango's partner drivers who operate as part of a registered fleet will be able to benefit from reduced call charges to talk to each other.
Côte d'Ivoire is the first country to launch this project with MTN.
