Strategic African alliances for Arch Retail

Arch Retail Systems, a leading player in the South African POS market, is proud to announce the signing of formal business partner agreements with the Genesis Group in Zambia (representing Arch in both Zambia and Zimbabwe) and Sejeh POS in Nigeria.

With more than 1 000 operational stores in SA, Botswana and Namibia, the Arch brand is well established as the solution of choice at a number of leading corporates such as Masscash, OK Foods, Food Lovers Market and Sefcash.

The past two years have seen strong growth in the demand for Arch's in-house developed software from a number of African countries. To date, 42 stores have gone live on Arch Retail in countries such as Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Seychelles and Tanzania.

It is part of the overall strategy to have a local presence in these African countries to ensure personal client attention and dedicated support back-up.

David Geldenhuys, Marketing Executive Officer of Arch, commented as follows: "It has been a long and tiresome journey to find the right partners to represent our great brand, but I'm pleased to announce we have tied the knot with two strong operations. As part of our growth plan, we will continue to enter into strategic alliances in a number of other target African countries".

Negotiations are in an advanced stage with potential partners in Kenya, Uganda and Ghana.
