In a statement, GeoPoll says its system enable companies and organisations to run individual and on-going surveys on any topic. Topics that could be surveyed include the likes of health, nutrition and human rights.

The system in turn could enable businesses and non-profit organisations to gain a deeper understanding, and real-time insights into the needs developing markets.

“The world is changing,” said James Eberhard, chief executive officer and founder of GeoPoll.

“Developing nations in Africa and Asia are growing at historic rates. Yet for any organisation trying to better understand these regions, they're largely running blind in terms of market intelligence,” said Eberhard in a statement.

He added, "We are changing this with our mobile-based platform that can instantly and iteratively deliver deep, accurate insights about any developing market or area across the globe.”
