Steward Bank has launched Zimbabwe's first premium card programme in partnership with global payments firm, MasterCard.

The MasterCard rewards credit and debit cards will give customers access to a variety of privileges and rewards, notes a statement.

MasterCard cardholders will gain access to a range of exclusive offers on flights, accommodation, car hire, dining, retail, culture, sports and entertainment worldwide.

In addition, cardholders will have 24/7 access to dedicated service agents that can assist them in 72 languages, emergency card replacement, and a virtual payment concierge for card-not-present transactions.

"Nielsen recently noted that the Zimbabwean economy is fast recuperating after the economic contraction of the past decade, and that the number of affluent citizens is increasing.
