Old Mutual Malawi has launched digital platforms, a USSD code, and a WhatsApp Chatbot to improve access to financial services.

Khumbo Phiri, Old Mutual operations executive, said following the introduction, "The platforms will redefine how customers interact with the company, eliminate barriers, and simplify financial transactions."

He also stated that these platforms will offer customers insurance and investing advice.

"Customers can apply for various offerings directly from their mobile devices using the USSD code, eliminating the need for in-person visits to Old Mutual offices," Phiri explained.

According to the company, the Chatbot provides a virtual assistant experience as clients connect with Old Mutual Malawi in real-time, answering questions, offering support, and providing information about the company's offerings
