Tim Pfaelzer has been promoted to general manager and senior vice president of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Tim Pfaelzer has been promoted to general manager and senior vice president of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) by Veeam Software, a data security and ransomware recovery company.

He now oversees Veeam's business operations in all segments and marketplaces throughout the region.

According to the company, Pfaelzer, who is located in Germany, provides experience in business development, marketing, sales leadership, and general management to the Veeam team, as well as its customers and partners throughout the region.

Pfaelzer has been with Veeam since July 2021 and was most recently vice president, Enterprise, EMEA.

According to the company, he has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including top management roles at Dell and numerous positions at Adobe, Autodesk, and Salesforce.

"He has been instrumental in the expansion of our business across EMEA. He is an accomplished leader who prioritises the needs of our customers and partners in everything we do," says John Jester, Veeam's chief revenue officer.
