EET Europarts continues its expansion with the acquisition of the Norwegian company CashPOS Systems AS.

EET Europarts is carrying on with its expansion by acquiring CashPOS Systems AS.

EET Europarts has in recent years built up a strong position within the POS & Auto ID business area, partly on the basis of acquisitions and partly through the formation of strategic distribution agreements with a number of leading brands and companies in the field.

"We have made great progress in our POS & Auto ID business in recent years, both in expansion of the product range and with the addition of many new brands," says CEO John Thomas, EET Group. "With the acquisition of CashPOS Systems AS, we are strengthening our market position and taking another step towards achieving our goal of becoming one of the leading POS and Auto ID distributors in the European market latest by 2020."

CashPOS Systems AS was founded in 2004 and has specialized in the sale of products and solutions for the POS (Point of Sales) market.

Daily manager Runar Solberg says about the acquisition: "CashPOS has, for strategic reasons, had the need to be part of a larger company, with structured business systems, greater flexibility and the ability to deliver quality at every level. And we have assessed that EET Europarts is the perfect match for us. EET Europarts has had tremendous success in developing its distribution in a number of new business areas, including POS and Auto ID, and we look forward to being part of a company that has both a strong product range, a highly competent sales organization and also a unique and efficient distribution setup.
