Leading Sage Business Partner AWCape has successfully supplied and implemented Sage 300 ERP (formerly known as Sage Accpac) with project job costing as a cloud solution for RMS Shopfitting.

Cape Town based RMS Shopfitting with its global footprint provides sophisticated, creative and practical shopfitting solutions. With an unrivalled reputation in the industry, RMS Shopfitting has carried out major commissions throughout Africa, as well as exported manufactured goods to Japan, the UK and Europe. RMS Shopfitting's South African customers include the Busby Group, Edcon, Greencross, MTN and several major hotel groups including Crystal Towers and Protea Hotels.

RMS Shopfitting required a robust system to improve its management of revenue and expenditure derived from multiple projects in a typical manufacturing environment. After careful analysis the company chose Sage 300 ERP with project job costing to replace its ageing systems.

An important factor in their choice of system was the ability to upscale seamlessly as their business grows, and the ability to invest in a cloud solution, freeing up any requirement to maintain in-house servers with its typical requirement for technical support. In addition to a hosted virtual server, AWCape also supplied on-line backup and Business ADSL services to RMS Shopfitting.
