MTN Côte d'Ivoire confirms mobile TV, VOD deal

MTN Côte d'Ivoire has announced a strategic partnership with applications and multimedia services specialist SUMMVIEW to launch a new service called "MTN TV" accessible on mobile.

Mobile subscribers in the West African country will be able to access a set of live TV channels and on-demand content via their phones.

According to a media statement released on behalf of SUMMVIEW users can download the application MTN TV on MTN CI website (www.mtn.ci) or on Google Play Store.

"Users have the option to subscribe for a day, a week or a month...The availability of video on smartphones and tablets relies on the platform developed by SUMMVIEW. With a few clicks, users access from the terminal, a catalog of live channels and on demand videos," says the release.
