Broadband submarine cable company Main One Cable has teamed up with Tata Communicationsto to launch an international video broadcast centre in Nigeria.

Called the 'Video Connect Network', the centre is geared towards letting production companies in Nigeria broadcast their live video content worldwide using submarine broadband cables.

Speaking about the product and partnership with Tata, chief executive officer, Main One, Funke Opeke, said, “We are proud to be part of this ground-breaking partnership, bringing new opportunities not only for Nigeria, but Africa as a whole.
