Partner programmes channel partners across SADC region

Lenovo partner programmes fast-track channel growth, earnings in SADC.

Lenovo’s partner programmes are helping channel partners across the SADC region to boost their businesses and earn rebates – bringing welcome revenue boosts at a particularly challenging time for business.

This is according to Pieter Geere, Product Manager at Axiz, which is a Lenovo Data Centre Group (DCG) distributor in the SADC region.

“Lenovo is a trusted brand across DCG and consumer products in the SADC region, and we are seeing growth in the market for Lenovo solutions. We already have strong partner relationships in Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Namibia and Botswana, but thanks to the market growth, there is room for yet more resellers.”

Geere says a particularly compelling value proposition for partners is Lenovo’s Partner Engage and Partner Elevate programmes, which help even small to mid-sized partners benefit from major contracts, incentives and rebates.

“The Lenovo Partner Engage Program is an enhanced membership programme that offers valuable incentives, benefits and resources. These include ongoing updates on news and products; an intuitive partner portal; sales, product, marketing and training support; and an incremental bonus programme,” says Geere. “Lenovo also supports lead and demand generation, with rewards including rebates, sales support, MDF, demo products and sales representative incentives.

The LEAP (Lenovo Expert Achievers programme) rewards partners with rich benefits and their teams through participation in LEAP Learning and Selling programmes.

The Lenovo Elevate programme rewards Lenovo authorised business partners with paid cash rebates based on Lenovo Data Center sales achievement and is available for existing Partner Engage partners.

“These programmes are particularly relevant to the market now when the economy is under pressure, and SMBs can face even bigger challenges than large enterprise partners,” says Geere. “The rebates are a particularly good incentive for SMB partners, as targets start at US$5 000 and are capped at US$30 000.”

“The Lenovo partner programmes are quick and easy to sign up for, and we believe the programmes give smaller partners the treatment and benefits they might expect as a silver or gold vendor partner,” he says. “Axiz can assist potential partners to join the programme, and if they are not familiar with the product set, we can also facilitate training. As with all our partners, we can also support them with lead generation and sales.”
