Finance app NoOnes expands to Kenya
Financial communication app, NoOnes, has expanded to Kenya to connect the country and the region to global financial systems via peer-to-peer (P2P) technology.
NoOnes CEO Ray Youssef said the intention is to establish the app as a leading platform to help African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) achieve its goals.
“This is driven by a desire to tackle inequality and empower those facing financial disparities,” he said.
NoOnes will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Kenya and similar regions into the global financial fabric, all while respecting their unique needs and ambitions, the official said.
“Utilising blockchain technology, NoOnes simplifies financial communications and transactions in areas with limited banking infrastructure, thereby fostering inclusivity and convenience,” Youssef explained.
Youssef highlighted NoOnes’ distinctive features, including community participation, transparency, and sustainability.
“The platform fosters a community-centric ecosystem that focuses on giving back, not just profit.”
Youssef said NoOnes adopts a decentralised decision-making process, leveraging local expertise to ensure compliance and seamless operations.
“With a focus on user-centric design, NoOnes is dedicated to delivering a seamless experience to its diverse user base, enhancing both accessibility and usability.”
