Nutanix Cloud Bundles enables channel to rapidly deliver cloud solutions for mid-market customers

Mid-market customers can benefit from enterprise-grade cloud experience that is easy to deploy and available on a subscription basis.

Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in private, hybrid and multi-cloud computing, today announced the extension of its successful Cloud Bundles channel initiative geared to delivering a seamless and financially attractive cloud experience for mid-market customers. Channel partners will now be able to offer non-enterprise customers a feature rich Nutanix experience to help with cloud acceleration, business automation and the delivery of applications and services designed for modern, remote working and cloud-centric business.

Businesses across Africa are facing challenges in selecting the right technology to assist them in scaling into the cloud accelerated by the sudden and rapid remote working demands placed on organisations because of the pandemic. With Cloud Bundles, Nutanix partners can now ease this frustration by delivering an all-in-one offering that delivers a higher value experience on an enterprise-class platform that is hybrid cloud ready where there is no feature trade off or bloated costs.

“The modern business has evolved from cloud first to cloud smart. The age-old requirements for mid-market customers where cost, security, flexibility and time to market have not changed, yet the growing need to ensure compliance and innovation have moved up the value chain,” says Fatima Mkandla, Channel sales Manager, Nutanix Southern Africa. “With Cloud Bundles we are offering mid-market customers a clear path to bridge the gap between an on-prem and public cloud environment, or simple, a smarter more effective technology solution to help them run their own environment more effectively. In essence giving them the tools to build a cloud cockpit.

The packages for medium-sized businesses are available in three different versions, namely a basic package that contains the fundamental building blocks of the Nutanix stack, a standard option that includes file management and automation capabilities, and an advanced offering with additional network security and micro-segmentation functionality.

Additionally, packages are compatible with all hardware platforms certified by Nutanix and include software support for three or five years. It is the perfect solution to avoid vendor lock in and ensure customers are still able to make the hardware choices they feel most relevant to their needs while building the perfect runway to the public cloud.

All Nutanix Cloud Bundles versions are aimed exclusively at new customers and are available through the accredited partner channel. Existing Nutanix partners will continue to benefit from the same level of marketing support that they would otherwise receive when addressing the enterprise market.

“Value acceleration and realisation is the number one requirement for CIOs. With Cloud Bundles customers can now reduce the time to market for their business applications and scale into the cloud when they need to without refactoring their entire environment while being assured of a secure and proven technology to support this. This way they can also future proof their investments with a solution that will grow incrementally with their business and within their budget,” ends Mkandla.
