South African digital transformation and AI firm First Technology Digital has secured Gold level status for the Microsoft DevOps competency.

According to a statement released by the company, the status reinforces its current technical standing which includes Gold Cloud Platform expertise covering Application Development, Collaboration and Content, Data Analytics, and Datacentre competencies.

First Technology Digital references the findings of IT automation software company, Puppet and its white paper ‘2017 State of DevOps Report’, which revealed that high performing organisations have 46 times higher software deployment frequencies, 440 times faster lead time for changes, and a five times lower software change failure rate than lower performance competitors.
