Fox IT sets sights on Africa

Fox ITSM, the SADC Hub partner to global IT service management company, Fox IT, is driving governance-based consultancy and training services in SA and neighbouring countries.

Ken Ramsden, head of alliances at Fox IT, says the agreement has been extended to include Businet Systems, an IT services company based in Kenya, with negotiations to extend local representation to other SADC countries.

According to Ramsden, during the past 10 years, Fox IT has made significant steps to extend and strengthen its global coverage through a worldwide partner network accredited to deliver local ITSM services.

“Currently, this partner network encompasses 25 different countries and 15 languages,” notes Ramsden.

He adds: “Our relationship with Fox ITSM SA enables Fox IT to be responsive to requirements in the strategic and high-growth SADC market, which further reinforces our commitment to be the natural and preferred global delivery partner of integrated service management and governance services.”

Ian Clark, Fox ITSM regional MD, says: “Through our agreement with Fox IT, we now have access to a world-renowned service management brand, enabling us to assist organisations maximise the business potential from their IT investments, through the deployment of industry-accredited and business-aligned best practice frameworks.”

Clark adds: “We are looking forward to introducing and delivering the Fox IT Education, Consulting and Implementation Accelerators to the African market and are positive our unique delivery style and offerings will be well accepted.”
